This FREE Conference will provide practical training and tools to help summer learning programs create a summer culture that is inclusive, youth-focused, and most importantly, fun!  The 2013 San Francisco Summer Learning Conference is designed for front-line staff, teachers, and site coordinators. It will host various Bay Area presenters with topics including:  Summer Culture, Classroom Management, Field Trip Logistics, Lesson Planning/Enhancement, and Team Building… In addition, the following program specialty sessions will be included: Arts, Sports/Fitness, Nutrition, and STEM.

Summer Learning Network February Conference- It's never too early to start planning for summer!


The San Francisco Summer Learning Network and the Partnership for Children and Youth (PCY) are happy to announce the Summer Matters 2013Conference for directors, managers and site coordinators! 



This year we are hosting two free conferences in support of summer learning.  Our first conference will be held on Friday, February 15, 2013 and registration is now open to the first 100 registrants.  For more information regarding our February conference or to register, please refer to the attached flyer and/ or the information listed below.



This FREE conference will run from 8:30am- 3:30pm, and will be held in Oakland, CA at Preservation Park close to the 12th Street BART and public parking.

Summer Matters 2013 Conference
Oh, the Places We'll Go!

Every child needs quality summer-learning opportunities to grow, have fun, and stay on track in school. The Summer Matters 2013 ConferenceOh, the Places We'll Go! is designed for K-12 program directors, managers, and site coordinators, and will include topics covering: Building Sustainable Systems, Planning for Summer, Hiring and Management, Creating Infrastructure to Support Quality Instruction, Program Evaluation, and more!


The Summer Learning Network will also hold our annual resource fair and conference for front-line staff and coordinators this spring in San Francisco. Stay tuned for more details!
